You have the right to request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. This page explains how to make a request and what to expect.
1. How to Submit a Request
Email privacy@shirohairsalon.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request,” or call us at 916-304-2514. Please include the name, email and/or phone number you used so we can locate your records. You may also use our contact form.
2. Verification
To protect your privacy, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on a deletion request. We may ask you to confirm details that match the information we hold.
3. What We Will Do
Once verified, we will delete or anonymise the personal information we hold about you, and direct our service providers to do the same, unless an exception applies.
4. Exceptions
We may retain certain information where permitted or required by law — for example, to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, detect and prevent fraud or security incidents, or exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Timing
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to complete them within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally within 45 days, extendable where permitted).
6. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may still verify your identity directly.
