SHIRO Hair Salon LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of children. This policy explains our practices in line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
1. Our Website Is Not Directed to Children
Our website is intended for adults (and for parents/guardians booking on behalf of minors). It is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
2. Bookings for Minors
Appointments for children — such as our kids’ haircuts — should be requested by a parent or legal guardian. Any information submitted in connection with a minor’s appointment is provided by, and is the responsibility of, that adult.
3. If We Learn We Have Collected a Child’s Information
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
4. Parental Rights
Parents and guardians may review, request deletion of, or refuse further collection of their child’s personal information by contacting us.
